Fort Payne Clinic

M. Chad Williamson, M.D.

Dr. Chad has grown up in Alabama where he was a 2004 graduate of Sylvania High School. After high school, he spent a year at Northeast Alabama Community College before going to UAB. While there, he majored in business management with a minor in biology. He then graduated from The University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed my family medicine residency at Floyd Medical in Rome, GA. After completing training and becoming a Board Certified Family Physician, He opened DeKalb MD, a practice that he had been dreaming about for nearly a decade. DeKalb MD represents my ideal medical practice where he's able to practice medicine without the burdens and restrictions of government and insurance regulation, so he can focus solely on my patients and their needs.

The love of his life, Ashley, who he married in 2013, teaches English at Sylvania High School. They have an adorable son and daughter, Hayes and Hollis, who keep them entertained. They're blessed to be able to move home to a place they both so fond of. They attend Word of Life Ministry in Fort Payne, AL.
