M. Chad Williamson, M.D.
I was raised in DeKalb County Alabama where I was a 2004 graduate of Sylvania High School. After high school, I spent a year at Northeast Alabama Community College before going to UAB. While there, I majored in business management with a minor in biology. I then graduated from The University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed my family medicine residency at Floyd Medical in Rome, GA. After completing training and becoming a Board Certified Family Physician, I opened DeKalb MD, a practice that I had been dreaming about for nearly a decade. DeKalb MD represents my ideal medical practice where I’m able to practice medicine without the burdens and restrictions of government and insurance regulation, so I can focus solely on my patients and their needs.
The love of my life, Ashley, who I married in 2013, teaches English at Sylvania High School. We have one adorable son, Hayes, who keeps us entertained. We're blessed to be able to move home to a place we are both so fond of. We attend Word of Life Ministry in Fort Payne, AL.
